The Kipy team’s answers to frequently asked questions

To upload a document, click on the icon in the centre of the navigation bar that you will find on all Kipy screens.

From the drop-down list, select the category to which your document belongs, then select the type, followed by the “Let’s start!” button.

You can decide whether to:

  • Scan a paper document
  • Import a document from the photo gallery
  • Upload a file previously saved on your smartphone

After clicking on the icon, select the category and type of document you wish to upload, click on the “Let’s get started!” button and choose “Scan a document”.

Place the document on a contrasting background by framing it from above and taking care that there are no reflections. The app will automatically detect the edges and take the photo. You can check the newly scanned document by clicking on the box at the bottom left and, if the photo does not come out well, you can retake it by selecting ‘Retry’ or delete it by selecting .

When the photo is to your liking, select the ‘Save’ button. If you want to take the photo manually, select the ‘Auto’ button and drag the corners of the white frame to adjust the edges of the image.”

Of course. Follow the same process as explained in the previous point.
After scanning the first page, continue by scanning the other pages and only at the end select the “Save” button.

Of course, you can edit your document data as often as you like!

Go to the Archive and open the document you are interested in.
Select in the top right-hand corner on the pencil symbol or the three dots and the page containing all the data will open. Edit them and then select the ‘Save’ button.

You can also follow another way: go to the Archive , select the three dots to the right of the document, choose the “Edit document” button and you will be taken to the page containing all the data, edit them. Then select the “Save” button.
